  • We have weekly discussion meetings at 12:30pm-1:30pm on Tuesday in Room 317 of the Arts Centre, corner Grattan St and Swanston St.

Elizabeth Murphy - President

3rd year BA/LLB

Having attended Camberwell Primary School, French has been part of

Elizabeth’s life since she was 5 years old. Although learning maths in

French at such a young age has perhaps hindered her ability in addition

and subtraction, her love of the French language has continued.

After spending the summer in Europe travelling around, visiting her French

exchange family in Grenoble and spending Christmas in Paris, Liz is once

again saving up for her next trip to France so she can spend copious

amounts of money at great stores like H&M (as well as visiting the many

beautiful places in France of course).

Elizabeth is currently studying French as part of the Bachelor of Arts and

is planning on doing an exchange to France sometime in the near future.

Being part of French club seemed natural and a fantastic way to meet

people who have a similar love of French and their culture.
